Any trainer worth their salt will tell you that you must constantly be introducing your body to new stimuli: new workouts, different foods, etc. If you want to continue to see results, you must learn to adapt.
This is the foundation of manipulating calories. In the same manner, you must give your body what it needs, but you must also introduce it to different foods (at the right time) so your body doesn’t get used to a certain routine.

1. Protein – a large molecule made up of smaller units called amino acids

You Really Can Do This
Fat Loss 4 Idiots is Idiot Proof. I hate cooking. I hate complicated recipes. I love eating. Duh! I’m sick to death of dieting, but know in my heart that I am not willing to consistently make ‘good choices’ for calories, points or whatever, without some sort of uncomplicated guide. I’m a lower-carb fan, due to ‘iffy’ blood sugar issues (Don’t freak! Fat Loss 4 Idiots is NOT a truly low-carb diet), but I found the lack of fruit on a typical low-carb diet somewhat worrisome (also...I like oatmeal and beans), plus I stalled at 40 pounds with 40 to go. Bummer. Choose 15 foods from each column to ‘design’ your menu and Fat Loss 4 Idiots incorporates enough fruits and vegetables, by default, to fluster into silence even the most critical critic. It’s tailor-made for the night nibbler (moi) - 4 meals a day means I can eat in the evening (as I read it). Most diets tell you to stop eating after 8:00 pm and fast for 12 hours. At that point, a diet is simply over for me. Can’t sleep if I’m hungry, so a light meal around 9:00 or 10:00 pm is the only way to go for me. And frankly, I save the ‘sweeter’ meal (with fruit) for that time, when I’m tired, bored and cranky and sweet cravings kick in. I know it’s not wise, but dernit, it works for me and keeps me moving forward. First 11 Days for 60 year old.
I have lost 4 pounds. I probably only drank half of the water. I ate anything I wanted today, but realized it did not taste as good as I thought it would. I also ate a bit too much in the beginning of the diet, so I really understand to leave a bit hungry, then 10 minutes later, you are not hungry at all. A diet that doesn't feel like a diet
USE THIS DIET!! I was skeptical but purchased it anyway. I've tried them all. Once I got into the routine of having the right foods around and followed the plan, I did loose 9 pounds in 11 days! I couldn't believe it! I was rarely hungry, and if I was, I simply drank any of the accepted liquids and the hunger was gone. Many times when we feel hungry, we are really thirsty.
I only did one 11 day segment of the diet, and have only gained back 2lbs. in 6 months! So, I am starting the regime again and will probably lose even more this time.

I've fallen into a black hole
I don't like to be taken. I don't usually buy products where the sponsor does not provide a street address (as opposed to a PO Box or email address), or a toll free phone number (as opposed to a long distance phone number to Hawaii or India), but when I went through the pitch (before buying) there was an address associated with the diet and with "Clikbank") which I printed out (and unfortunately might have to use if what I suspect will happen actually does---but I'm getting ahead of myself).
I bought the diet, printed out the pdf, then went to the diet generator and printed out a "regular" diet (because I eat fish, but not meats) and a "Vegetarian diet" as well. I made sure NOT to choose any fruit, as I have been diagnosed by my MD as insulin resistant, and was banned from eating fruit. Did that stop the diet generator, which is supposed to combine the foods you will eat, and have personally checked off, from coming up with one day out of the 11 day cycle when they listed ONLY FRUIT to eat for that day (no veggies or other carbs, and of course, no protein).This is a problem for me, because as an almost vegetarian, my diet is restrictive already. Then as someone who is forbidden to eat fruit, I have very little left to choose from, and cannot eat off of the customized plan from the diet generator at all!
So, I have decided to eat from the general guideline list, which I can do only because I am extremely disciplined and never cheat on diets. I tried to contact Fat Loss 4 Idiots, and have not heard beack from them--it has been days now and no response.
Here is the second problem. I decided to generate another diet, and tried to access the "regular" diet generator, but for some reason, now my computer can only access the vegetarian version---barring me from half the diet options and half the use of the diet generator. I have just sent a second email, complaining about this problem.
This may be a scam. I don't know yet. I have an extremely supressed metabolism, and have been under doctors and a nutritionists care, at great expense. So far, no one had suggested this theory of varying carbohydrates and proteins in order to fool your metabolism and "set point". Since I've only been on the diet a few days, I haven't seen any results yet. This is a last resort for me, since I eat healthily and exercise, and no matter what, I can't lose weight. This has been a lifelong problem. I have no appetite issues, I understand nutrition and am not an idiot, but maybe I was one for buying this diet. Time will tell. Good luck trying to contact anyone once you've pressed "submit" for your order!

I Really Lost Weight
I was really looking for help in losing weight. In May of 2006 I read,"Lose 9lbs in 11 days." I thought, I've got to try it. I paid the $27 dollars, and I lost 15 pounds my first 11 days. I must have been an idiot!!!
I am very disappointed in this diet. I was very excited to start it and I followed it without cheating at all. I thought I lost about 4 lbs(which is less that the 9 that they claim you'll lose), but realistically, not everyone is going to lose 9 lbs and I knew that. However, I am on the 3 day off time and am already back to my original weight in one day, less a couple of ounces. I am NOT a dieter! I never had a weight problem until I had children in my mid-thirties. Now, 50, I noticed my metabolism has slowed down significantly.
